Inside, a living and dining room with a full kitchen keeps the suite self-contained for a week or longer. The principal bedroom holds a king; the second, two queens, an arrangement that works equally well for a family, two couples, or a pair of guests who simply want room to breathe. Two full bathrooms — one tub-shower, one shower — mean mornings move without a queue.

The patio overlooks the pool, the screened porch catches the Gulf breeze, and the beach is a short walk on. The Sunflower has a way of staying with guests long after they have checked out.
