A note on connectivity: our WiFi runs on what locals call coconut wireless. It works well most days, but storms and barrier island life occasionally have other plans. We like to think of it as part of the charm — Wicker Inn has always been a place to unplug.
Gardenia is the suite people remember by scent. Its namesake blooms beside the porch, and on warm evenings the fragrance drifts in through the screen door and settles over the sitting room, the kind of detail no designer can order and no guest forgets.
The suite itself keeps things simple and right: a restful bedroom, a sitting room with a sleeper sofa for a child or a guest, and a full kitchen that makes a week feel effortless. The private porch looks over the gardens toward the pool.
Days here move at porch speed. Coffee first, then the sand or the pool, then an evening outside while the garden does what it was planted to do.
