A note on connectivity: our WiFi runs on what locals call coconut wireless. It works well most days, but storms and barrier island life occasionally have other plans. We like to think of it as part of the charm — Wicker Inn has always been a place to unplug.
Morning Glory is built for two couples who want to travel together without ever feeling on top of one another. It is the rare suite with two true principal bedrooms, each with its own king and full bath, set at opposite ends of a living space that belongs equally to both.
Between them sits a comfortable living and dining room with a full kitchen, the natural gathering point for morning coffee and the evening's plans. Everyone keeps their privacy; everyone wakes to a proper bed and a bath of their own, an arrangement that has a quiet way of keeping family trips and old friendships happily intact.
The pool is in view and the beach a short walk on, and the only real decision left is whose turn it is to make the coffee.
