A note on connectivity: our WiFi runs on what locals call coconut wireless. It works well most days, but storms and barrier island life occasionally have other plans. We like to think of it as part of the charm — Wicker Inn has always been a place to unplug.
Oleander takes its name from the most Floridian of blooms, the one that thrives in salt air and full sun, and the suite has inherited the temperament. Nothing about it asks for effort. You arrive, you unpack, and the island takes it from there.
There is a restful bedroom, a sitting room with a sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen for slow breakfasts and simple dinners. The private porch sits at garden level, a few steps from the pool deck and an easy stroll from the sand.
It is the suite for guests who measure a good day in hours spent outside. Towels dry on the rail, sandals wait by the door, and the only real question left is whether the afternoon belongs to the Gulf or the pool.
