A note on connectivity: our WiFi runs on what locals call coconut wireless. It works well most days, but storms and barrier island life occasionally have other plans. We like to think of it as part of the charm — Wicker Inn has always been a place to unplug.
Five intimate one-bedroom suites, each named for the blooms that frame its porch, the Garden Suites are the Inn's most requested choice for two. Camellia, Gardenia, Oleander, Periwinkle, and Hibiscus each keep a world of their own: quiet, private, and arranged so the most pressing decision of the day is the pool or the sand.
Inside, a restful bedroom and a sitting room with a sofa for a child or a guest open onto a full kitchen and, beyond it, a generous private porch looking over the gardens and the water. Different blooms, the same unhurried rhythm.
